Tazkirah Ringkas Sunnah Puasa Hari ‘Asyura Bulan Muharram

Bersempena dengan kedatangan hari sembilan (tasu’a) dan sepuluh (‘asyura) Muharram ini saya mengingatkan para pengunjung sekelian tentang kita semua disunatkan berpuasa pada hari-hari berkenaan. Sekurang-kurangnya berpuasalah pada sepuluh Muharram. Ini seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam hadis-hadis berikut;

عن ابن عباس رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنهُ أن رَسُول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّم صام يوم عاشوراء وأمر بصيامه. مُتَّفّقٌ عَلَيهِ

Daripada Ibn Abbas r.a.:“Bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w. berpuasa pada hari ‘asyura dan memerintahkan agar berpuasa padanya”. (Riwayat al-Bukhari dan Muslim dalam sahih mereka).

عن أبي قتادة رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنهُ أن رَسُول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّم سئل عن صيام يوم عاشوراء فقال: ((يكفر السنة الماضية)) رَوَاهُ مُسلِمٌ.

Daripada Abu Qatadah r.a. : bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w ditanya tentang puasa hari ‘asyura. Baginda menjawab, “(Puasa tersebut) Menghapuskan dosa satu tahun yang lalu”. (Riwayat Muslim)

وعن ابن عباس رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنهُما قال، قال رَسُول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّم: ((لئن بقيت إلى قابل لأصومن التاسع)) رَوَاهُ مُسلِمٌ.

Daripada Ibn Abbas r.a. beliau berkata: “Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda, “Sekiranya aku masih hidup sampai tahun depan, maka aku akan berpuasa pada (hari) kesembilan” (Riwayat. Muslim).

Semoga Allah merahmati kita semua dalam berlumba-lumba mendampingiNya.

:: back to penang ::

salam.. we missed home.. last thursday (1^st muharram) marked the 1^st anniversary we moved in to our sweet home in bandar putra bertam.. we went back to penang yesterday.. ibu finally decided to go back after about two weeks we've been in kelantan.. i will miss mek, cik nor, ayahdi, mak long and epecially all the 'pupu's; kak tini, abg yi, long.. abg pit, kak ain and the rest.. and i will miss kak na the most who bought me ice cream & gula-gula.. (pasni tak merasalah dengan abi nak dpt menda ni hari²..)



alhamdulillah, adik iman was just sleeping most of the time from kelatan to penang.. he had a cozy space at the back with ibu.. i sit in the front on my car-seat..

:: 1429 hijri, 2008 masihi ::

Muharram merupakan bulan pertama dalam perkiraan arab (sistem lunar). Namun tahun berlakunya hijrah Nabi s.a.w. (dari Makkah ke Madinah) telah menjadi penanda bagi perkiraan tahun dalam kalender Islam yang dimulakan di zaman pemerintahan khalifah kedua, amir al-mukminin, saidina Umar r.a. Diriwayatkan peristiwa hijrah itu sendiri berlaku pada bulan Safar (27 Safar). Tahun ini merupakan tahun yang ke 1429 selepas berlakunya hijrah Nabi s.a.w ke Madinah.

:: salam from klate ::

as-salam alaikum wa rahmatullah. Filza still in Kelantan with ibu and adik Iman.. it has been more than a week now.. i think i can 'kecek' more klate' now.. learn from kak tini, abe yi, long, abe pit & kak ain - my cousins.. words like make'.. etek.. supit.. and etc.. also play games like "teh tarik teh kuca".. and many more..

abah kak tini's volkswagen.. he's a club member i think.. also has vespa..

:: adik iman, new look ::

salam.. we went back to Kelantan on the 9th day (after adik was born) - sunday, 9am.. it was a long journey.. it was hard for ibu to sit in the car for hours.. alhamdulilLah.. we reached tokmek's house around 2.30pm..

on tuesday morning, 1st january.. abi went to solat al-fajr (subuh) at pulau melaka (tg nik aziz's) mosque.. abi took adik iman there (with ibu).. ibu just waited in the car.. after solah and a short kuliah subuh by yb menteri besar of kelantan, tg nik aziz, abi went to him to do the 'tahnik' and cukur (gunting) rambut for adik.. he was the 3rd/last baby that morning (abi also took me to tg nik aziz for 'tahnik' when i was 7 days old).. after that, at home, abi continued 'cukur' rambut adik..



(Tahnik was a custom among the Muslims that whenever a child was born they used to take it to the Prophet who would chew a piece of date and put a part of its juice in the child's mouth)

A narration by by Abu Musa r.a. “A baby boy was bestowed on me and I brought him to Rasulullah s.a.w. who named him Ibrahim. He then performed the tahnik with a piece of chewed date, blessed him and thereafter returned the baby to me.”

bismilLah, alhamdulilLah.. now after about two weeks since adik was born, barulah ade kesempatan nak menulis balik.. walaupon sibuk 'jaga' adik.. now I am in Kelantan near Kota Bharu (ibu's hometown) with ibu and adik.. while abi now in Penang since he has to work.. demi mencari sesuap nasi for us.. ;)
