:: adik iman, new look ::

salam.. we went back to Kelantan on the 9th day (after adik was born) - sunday, 9am.. it was a long journey.. it was hard for ibu to sit in the car for hours.. alhamdulilLah.. we reached tokmek's house around 2.30pm..

on tuesday morning, 1st january.. abi went to solat al-fajr (subuh) at pulau melaka (tg nik aziz's) mosque.. abi took adik iman there (with ibu).. ibu just waited in the car.. after solah and a short kuliah subuh by yb menteri besar of kelantan, tg nik aziz, abi went to him to do the 'tahnik' and cukur (gunting) rambut for adik.. he was the 3rd/last baby that morning (abi also took me to tg nik aziz for 'tahnik' when i was 7 days old).. after that, at home, abi continued 'cukur' rambut adik..



(Tahnik was a custom among the Muslims that whenever a child was born they used to take it to the Prophet who would chew a piece of date and put a part of its juice in the child's mouth)

A narration by by Abu Musa r.a. “A baby boy was bestowed on me and I brought him to Rasulullah s.a.w. who named him Ibrahim. He then performed the tahnik with a piece of chewed date, blessed him and thereafter returned the baby to me.”

bismilLah, alhamdulilLah.. now after about two weeks since adik was born, barulah ade kesempatan nak menulis balik.. walaupon sibuk 'jaga' adik.. now I am in Kelantan near Kota Bharu (ibu's hometown) with ibu and adik.. while abi now in Penang since he has to work.. demi mencari sesuap nasi for us.. ;)

adik was registered on the 5th day and named as Fathul Iman (fath al-iman)
